Become WIRS, NERS or GIRS Accredited
Are you looking to become a WIRS, NERS, or GIRS accredited company? Do you need a Technical Advisor to satisfy the requirements of the Lloyds Register accreditations? We have over 15 years proven experience successfully managing and implementing the process both in smaller companies, those wishing to change direction into the utility sector, and larger corporations.
We will assess and advise on which schemes and scopes to apply for and take you through partial accreditation to full accreditation with ongoing support. We provide a comprehensive suite of tailored procedural and process documents in line with each respective scope.
WIRS Accreditation
We can take you through the process to become accredited as a Self-Lay Provider or SLP with the Water Industry Registration Scheme- recognised by all water utilities and Water UK.
NERS Accreditation
Successful award of the National Electric Registration Scheme will enable you as an Independent Connection Provider, or ICP to carry out new electrical connections and associated contestable works, alongside designing new connections and installation of electrical switches and transformers depending on the scopes applied for.
GIRS Accreditation
Becoming a Utility Infrastructure Provider, also known as a UIP with the Gas Industry Registration Scheme will enable you to carry out works in the construction of new gas infrastructure operating up to 7 bar pressure.
Technical Advisor
We can act as your external technical advisor which is an ongoing requirement of the accreditations. As your appointed technical advisor we would oversee the competency assessment process, approve and carry out annual reviews of method statements, risk assessments, procedural documents and perform quality audits.
